Expert advice- We provide you with the know-how to make good, educated decisions. We can help you determine your sales potential, tell you how many copies you can put out effectively and help you set your print order. Additionally, we can help with all phases of newsstand sales and marketing- market penetration, authorizations, contract negotiations, placement, cover techniques and recommendations, and retailer/wholesaler promotions.
Hands-on management of newsstand operations- We serve as a support system for publishers and in some cases act as "in house"newsstand directors. We assist with strategic planning, budgeting, and shirtsleeve marketing efforts. We provide diligent supervision at national distributor, wholesale and retail levels.
Proven performance and follow-up- We are professional newsstand development consultants, we stay on things and make sure they happen. We are distinguished by experience, knowledge and a high level of professionalism.
Clout with national distributors- We are in daily contact with all of the major and most of the secondary national distributors. We are on-line with Curtis, CMG, Kable, and Warner (including TDS). This allows us to access specific, timely information and to interpret the reports for you.
Regular interaction with all major wholesalers- We work hand in hand with all of the major wholesalers in the United States and Canada. We seek out opportunities and address problems - often before the national distributor is aware of them - thus providing you the opportunity to handle the situation, in advance, at the local national level. We also are working with secondary wholesalers. We are committed to providing the best distribution for our client publishers.
High profile with top newsstand retailers- We maintain a close working relationship with all major bookstores, convenience stores, supermarkets, discount stores and transportation licensees throughout the U.S. and Canada. We regularly interface with major airport terminal retailers plus maintain frequent contact with all major RDA consultants. We represent our clients at the major annual retail buyer meetings, by invitation only, and at trade shows such as FMI and NACS.
International sales and marketing- We offer expertise in international sales and actively work with the international distributors. We are also the North American representatives for major distributors in Australia and new Zealand (Gordon and Gotch).
A track record of successful launches and relaunches- Our expertise can be invaluable to new publishers, particularly if we get involved before you start contract negotiations.
